Wellness Technology not an Instant ROI

Wellness technologies in the workplace are not an instant fix to the health care expenditures companies incur.  This article analyzes how slimming down employee's can eventual cut overall medical expenses. One caution the article pointed out is that technology-based wellness programs can only go so far to improve a worker's health.  The worker is solely responsible to opt-in to these types of programs.  The workplace can not mandate that employee's enroll in technology based wellness plans.  Although that does not mean that employer's can't provide incentives.  Incentives often include a reduction in the employee's premiums costs, typically capped at $ 200 - $500 annually.  For companies jumping onboard with wellness programs they will often see an ROI within 2-3 years time.
