Building Mobile Apps

When building app's for a device, its not as easy as 1,2,3.  I think we have all recently discovered this from our CIS 600 class after completing our app development project.  When creating any app you will want to identify the end-user.  The end-user will be the person that will ultimately benefit from the app.  Especially when developing an app for a medical related matter.  Recently AT&T developed an app for diabetes management.  This app has been highly successful in the market.  The rapid success of the app can be attributed to AT&T's unique approach to the development process.  AT&T ensures that they have end-users be a part of the design process.  For instance, in the design of their diabetes app, they had diabetics assist with the creation of the app.  By having individuals with diabetes on the development team it made for a more robust app for the end-users.  I think as companies begin to venture on building any app, they will focus heavily on recruiting end-users to join the development teams.
