Mobile EHR

Electronic health records or EHR is all the buzz right now in the medical world.  A company named Practice Fusion will be offering doctors access to EHR's via mobile devices iPhone and Android in the coming months.  This is great news for patients.  Doctors will have access to patient charts, test results and even be able to re-fill prescriptions right from their mobile device.  This app is free for clinics that utilize Practice Fusion's EHR product.  If this trend continues, as I believe it will, we will see unprecendented levels of patient care. Doctors will have access anytime to to their patients data and thus be able to provide superior care.
